Yotsuba&! Monochrome Animals Vol 1 by Kaiyodo (Part 2)

Another set of photos of this adorable capsule toy, Yotsuba Monochrome Animal before I move on to another figure to shoot. There are so many things you can do with Yotsuba here even without using the animals.

My favorite is Yotsuba with a killer whale.

I used a small light blue basin filled with water and done some water splash effects manually. So no photoshop this time (besides I don’t know how to). ^_^

Original pose of this whale figure is vertical, but I like it better this way.

IMG_3372The sitting pose gives a nostalgic feeling.  I think it’ll be great for landscape shoots. We don’t have great view around the garden lately. I’m planning to bring her out to the nearest park next time.

Yotsuba and Milk. I remember the story when Yotsuba and her dad went to the farm and checked out the cows. She looks really cute and energetic.

I will probably take more photos of this gashapon soon, because I love all her pose here. Very candid. I like to get the Vol 2 of this capsule series, however I was told that it’s hard to get a hold of it these days.  I’m crossing my fingers to still get them.

That’s all for today everyone!

Next post will be figure photos of Revoltech Yotsuba and Danboard (Renewal Version). See you next time! ^_^

Where Yotsuba and the whale always connected? Im glad to see that you haven’t cheated with the water splashing, handmade is better ^^ For a gashapon these figures look nicely expressive, lovely pictures.

Yotsuba can be removed from the whale, and she’s about 1.5cm length.
The quality of these figures is really impressive, even though it’s tiny, you can still see Yotsuba’s expression. >_<

Really cute photos! I really like the picture with the killer whale, you did a nice job creating the effect. Must have been a bit challenging without Photoshop, but it looks great!

I do not rely much in PS with most of my work because I don’t want to spend too much time editing (or maybe I’m just too lazy learning how to do it eheh) >_<

Good thing the outcome looked great though. Thank you very much for your feedback. ^_^
