Nendoroid Yotsuba Koiwai – Hanami

Every year in Spring time, people in Japan would gather together to watch the fleeting beauty of cherry blossoms. They watch the flower blooms at the parks, gardens, and the most scenic Sakura spots. I wish someday when Senna gets older we can plan a trip to Japan to watch and experience Hanami together.

Being a fan of anime and drama shows, I have always seen Spring with Cherry blossoms. That’s why I decided to make a new Sakura tree for Nendoroid Photography.

I finally unboxed my Nendoroid Yotsuba Koiwai, she is a 5-year-old cute girl in the manga, Yotsuba&!. This was a gift from my husband one year after we got married and it has been sitting there on the shelf for quite some time now. I usually unbox my Nendoroid if it’s time for a photo shoot.

Yotsuba Koiwai has been one of my favorite characters and subject in years of toy photography. I enjoyed the manga as well as her cute character. I am happy that Good Smile Company made her a Nendoroid form. If time permits me, I will take more photos of her just like her daily adventures in the manga.

For now, please enjoy the pictures of her watching the Cherry Blossoms. She’s waiting for her dad and friends to join her.

I have these Re-ment food miniatures which are perfect for the Hanami season.
