I haven’t updated my blog for a couple of weeks now. I have been busy working on the next figure photo project which is for Cu-poche Miki Hoshii which is already submitted to Kotobukiya. We’ll just have to wait for them to post the set on their page first.

Aside from that, a lot of things happened and the whole country is in grief of what had happened in Central Philippines. After the Haiyan typhoon devastated the area, killed thousands and thousands more are still missing, many people are thinking of ways how to send help to our countrymen.

We will not stop sending support to them, until they can get back on their feet again. Royalties I received from Figure Photo Studio have been donated to Philippines Red Cross in aid for Yolanda/Haiyan victims. Big thanks to fans in Indonesia who have purchased my work from Figure Photo Studio during the past conventions.

We are truly grateful of all the help coming from other countries, because we know that we cannot do it alone.

Meanwhile, last week I went to Toycrewbuddies Philippines division meet up at Subspace Coffee House. If you have Instagram, you can tag your figure photos #toycrewbuddies and follow @Toycrewbuddies. You will definitely meet new people and enjoy various toy photography. I didn’t expect that there are many active toy photographers in Instagram from Philippines. I think It’s great that I was able to meet them, thanks to my buddy from Singapore @dexter_suerte for inviting me.

Dexter is a Filipino BRS collector based in Singapore.  He came to visit Philippines after his recent trip in Japan and gave me lots of goodies. Thank you buddy!  Ｏ(≧∇≦)Ｏ

Including Figma Mayoi (which I am dying to have!), chibi Saber Zero and charm, Miku badges from Family Mart, card from Singapore and the super tasty Kitkat. Nom~ Nom~

The next day, the photo cards also arrived!

In celebration of hitting more than 1000 likes on Facebook, I am giving away 3 sets of photo cards (3 photo cards each set) to 3 lucky fans. I have selected the first fan, 2 more will be selected this coming weeks.  These will be available for sale together with a photo book which I’m still currently working.

It’s 30 days before Christmas and it’s that time of year again. I should be making Christmas themed photos of my chibis. I wonder if Good Smile Company will have another photocon.

Last Halloween, I wasn’t able to make a new one because of the trip and decided not to join the Good Smile Company Nendoroid photocon. It was just weird that in Crunchyroll’s blog post, I think they thought I entered the contest. (･_･?)

There was an incident when one of the fans of Good Smile Company in Facebook submitted my Halloween- photos I made in the past to the contest. I reported it to Mamitan and they disqualified that person immediately. I just don’t understand why there are people who steal photos, claim it as theirs (or maybe pretend she’s me?) and even enter a photo contest and didn’t even removed the watermark. Wth?!  (>┌┐<)/

Mamitan apologized because of the incident and urged me to enter these photos myself, while the thief didn’t even say a thing.

Unbelievable.

In the end, I decided not to join the Halloween photocon, well aside from the fact that I was away and in vacation. I was planning to enter my old entries just for fun when somebody  submitted my work first. (✖╭╮✖)

Oh, btw here’s good news, Good Smile Company already announced the winners! Congratulations to all who got the prizes and runner up entries.  ＼(＾▽＾*)/ My personal favorite is the Spookiest Photo. Haha.
