As part of my diorama project in last Sony’s event, I made a quite number of DIY miniatures for a real summer vibe. This includes making a beach umbrella to complete the summer gears needed of my Nendoroid and Cu-poche.

Since I couldn’t make something from scratch due to lack of time, I found an interesting idea here on making beach props. I don’t want to use the typical cocktail umbrella pick for the diorama because it’s too normal. I want my beach umbrella to be real-like as possible.

So here’s a video tutorial on how I modified a cocktail umbrella pick and turned it to a beach umbrella that you can use for toy photography and nendoroid photography. I hope you find this helpful in your future projects! 🙂
