Figma Snow Miku

Today’s post is my figure photos of another Wonfest exclusive, Figma Snow Miku by Max Factory. The popular Snow Miku for Sapporo Festival has now joined the Figma series. So for Figma collectors and Miku Hatsune lovers, you should not miss this figure.

Figma Snow Miku’s articulation points has been improved for full posability and that’s what I am going to show you today. You can actually create different poses making her more cute.

This is actually my first ever figma Miku Hatsune and all thanks to Good Smile Company for sending her in. I received the package last Valentine’s Day along with Nendoroid Snow Miku: Magical Snow version and Figma Armin Arlert. The package was supposed to arrive on the 12th but for some reason only FedEx knows, it was successfully delivered last 14th. So I’m a bit behind the schedule for figure photo shoot but I still managed to finish them on time.

I am really excited when I learned that I am getting this adorable figure -like oh my god, I got my hands on another precious gem of Max Factory.

Figma #EX-016 Snow Miku comes with a cheerful expression, blushing expression and sweet smiling expression. She also comes with an attachable scarf and a snow man mascot with a microphone. The snow man mascot is a great accessory especially if you want to create beautiful winter scenes. She also has extra hand parts and cute gloves to add in the winter feel. An articulated Figma stand is also included for various poses and I love that they have extra hand joint included too!

Looks like, Figma Snow Miku found a place to outdoor skate and even set up a winter-picnic style. Actually, she can’t skate because she doesn’t have an ice skating shoes. So careful with the ice, Miku-chan!

Figma Snow Miku is available for pre-order on a LIMITED time, take note that orders can be placed until the 17th February 2014 from 21:00JST. This is set to release on July 2014.  So hurry up and order now!

Over all, the experience with Figma Snow Miku is just superb. Her articulation has really improved a lot and way better compared to older figma releases. Miku’s face is more proportioned to the body and has beautiful face expressions. Another good thing about this figure is that even with the absence of its articulated stand part, you can still manage to stand her on her own. For cute poses, I actually used double sided tape under her feet for stability for figure photography. The paint on her is just perfect and the hair sculpt is top notch as well.

Earlier, I was a bit afraid of getting loose joints, but I guess I didn’t have that problem at all with Figma Snow Miku. Sometimes, getting a loose joint depends on how often you use and play with it or the quality it was made. For the whole day, I played with her and tried various poses and she is still intact and as good as new and I loved it.

Sometimes, her shoulder joints are a bit noticeable especially that she always have a sleeveless costume but didn’t really bother me that much. Besides, there’s always a right angle and correct posing to avoid that. 😉

So that’s all for now. I hope you enjoyed this set as much as I had fun taking her photos. See you on my next post and that would be Figma Armin Arlert of Shingeki No Kyojin!

This photo set is also published on Good Smile Company.
