Tea picnic is a perfect way to spend a lazy afternoon in the garden.
Today’s post is Tea picnic inspired featuring the lovely figure sponsored by Kotobukiya, Cu-Poche Mami Tomoe from Puella Magi Madoka Magica series. Yesterday, I posted the first set. Hit the link if you haven’t seen it yet.
Mami Tomoe enjoys tea very much and loves hosting tea parties. Soon, Sayaka will also be joining her in this picnic.
I decided to come up with the theme because of Mami’s love for tea. We have a big lot with trees at the back of my family home and I think I am lucky to have a comfortable place to set this up.
I used random things I found in our house for this idea. For example, the white sheer fabric for the decoration also serves as their shade from the sunlight. Of course this would not be complete without the tea cup sets, cakes and various decoration which are made by the company called Re-ment.
By the way, the yellow and purple little flowers aren’t real. I used plastic flowers to add design and color in the background.

How good have cupoches been for you in terms of stability and durability?
Thanks! My work is like I always want to sneak into their tiny little world and capture their moment.
CuPoche’s have great stability compared to a Nendoroid. If you use their magnetic base and support, you’d be able to make different poses. I only choose not to use them for figure photography. They can also stand on their own without the use of stand or support, they are such a cute companion when travelling. Durability depends on how often and careful you play with it I think. I didn’t have any problems yet (like broken limbs, joints) so far. But I always hope they will provide extra joint in the package. 😀

Super cute outdoor setup there. The twinking face is actually my favorite, but the crying face makes me want to take care and comfort her ლ(´﹏`ლ).

I personally love this set of Mami, very elegant little girl enjoying her tea outside. The crying face also give me that same feeling, she looks really sad. 😦
Hopefully, they’ll send Sayaka too. 😉
