Hi everyone!
I’m back with another DIY creation this week. Today’s post, I am sharing with you how I made a miniature dining room overlooking the pool for my figures.
Some of the materials were already obtained from the past. I love recycling materials and make a new one out of them.
The DIY project is actually pretty easy as it has minimal design and colors. Plus, I also received a dollhouse furniture from Gearbest which is just perfect for this scene. This 1/12 scale so it also works for Figma.
Check out this video for the closer detail!
Materials You’ll Need:
Plastic Acrylic Sheet
Since I want the dining area to have a fabulous view of the pool, I looked for plastic acrylic sheet and used it as the big window. If you don’t have acrylic sheets, you may use the hard plastic you get from product packaging.
MDF Board
I found MDF boards at a local DAISO. So I bought many so I can use and re-use it in my future projects.
Wooden Coffee Stirrers
Everytime I go look for supplies, I always buy what I think would be useful for me in the future. I found long wooden coffee stirrers at a supermarket nearby, and I decided to use them for the frame for this project.
Popsicle Sticks
I always have a stock of small and big popsicle sticks. You can make so many things out of them.
Self-adhesive wallpaper
This is really useful for your flooring or wall. If you’re not a fan of making DIY wooden floors and painting walls, then this is the best option.
Here’s the video on how I made the minimalist dining room set for my Nendoroid, dolls and action figures.
I’m also sharing you the photos I took using my brand new camera Sony A7III which I received from Sony Philippines a couple of weeks ago. It’s a superb experience. I love it! This is partnered with Sony 90mm f2.8 Macro G lens.

Sweet, Sweet Lunch Date
One thing I love about my work, I make an entirely new world for my figures. Like, I want to show the audience a sneak peak of my Nendoroid’s everyday life.
I hope you enjoyed this post. Have a great week and I’ll see you all again next time! ^_^
