My new photo series featuring the adorable Nendoroid Mako Mankanshoku in her kindergarten days inspired by this artwork. I used my doll’s kindergarten uniform in this photo shoot.
For those who have been following my work, I’m sure many of you noticed that I avoid using the same background or room sets for photo shoots. I maybe using the same window/shoji, but I always try my best to have the room designed differently from other background set I made in the past. But for now, I decided to take a break from nendoroid room set ups since we have a nice weather in the morning. Besides, it’s a great time for outdoor photography! Blue skies, bright sun and slightly cool breeze.
There are so many wonderful moments you would want to capture in everyday life of a 5-6 years old. Like enjoying an ice cream treat, blowing bubbles and wondering about a butterfly. So here are Mako’s captured moments. Enjoy the photos! o (◡‿◡✿)
All photos are taken with Sony A7 Mark II FE 55mm 1.8 ZA. ❤
Happines is a wonderful country view while eating ice cream..
oops until it’s gone.
Happiness is blowing bubbles..
Happiness is a butterfly which when pursued, is always just beyond your grasp, but which if you sit down quietly, may alight upon you. – Nathaniel Hawthorne
I’m not really into photoshopping effects in my pictures so I made some butterflies. I cut a portion from a stationery and drew a butterfly pattern. I cut it carefully then attached a thin wire using blu-tack. I used thin wire, so I can stick it on to the soil. Maybe one day, I’m gonna make more of this and make a butterfly garden.
That’s all for today everyone! See you again on my next post! ❤
Ooh I like what you did with the butterflies. Must be difficult working with such tiny things!
