Last 2012, Good Smile Company released their very first album containing all the photos of Nendoroid that they have produced. Along with the album is this adorable Nendoroid Saber in her casual clothes. I have several Saber Nendoroids in my collection but unfortunately I wasn’t able to snag this one that time.
My boyfriend happens to be a Saber figure collector and he has this cute figure in his collection, I’m so happy to take this out for figure photography. With Saber in her casual wear, I decided to set her up in my DIY Japanese room. This Japanese room is a part of my Ryokan that was displayed in Tamashii Convention 2015 last week.
Just like Nendoroid Saber Super Movable Edition, this Saber Casual ver has the same features. The joints will let you pose her in any adorable way you want. She comes with three facial expressions including this serious one which I think is best for her kendo practice. She comes with a bunch of parts including a lion toy, kendo stick, excalibur (which I didn’t use in this photo set), sitting part and optional hand parts (with chopsticks and bowl).
You can see in the picture the joint on her arms. I used Nendoroid Saber Lily’s face plate in the picture.
I used her sitting part and standard smile facial expression as she learns how to knit. Saber’s newest hobby is knitting!
Oh no! The cats messed up her knitting materials but still looking so cute.
Saber likes cute things too you know! 😀
and loves to play with them.
Hello, kitty kitty kitty!
Time to eat lunch and Saber has a visitor. :3
it’s Nendoroid Miku Hatsune in the house wearing her kimono.
Such a lovely sight to see these beautiful girls enjoying the meal.
I loved Saber Casual’s sitting part. There are various scenes that you can do with it, from playing with cats, knitting and eating her meal to just simply admiring the beautiful scenery.
Thanks to my boyfriend for lending me this figure, being a Saber fan, I had so much fun taking her pictures. ❤
That’s all for today friends, see you again on my next post!
Such lovely photos! The setting fits Saber so well! I think my favorite photo has to be the last one, the emotion and lighting are captured so well.
You should make a tutorial or books about making these fantastic props and scene
I would love to make my own Japanese room for my photo shoot with nendoroids
Love your works !
Wow! Your pictures are really cute! 🙂
Where do you buy all the furnitures and room from? I’m interested in getting them too!
Thank you so much! Most of the furniture and the room is handmade 🙂 But for starters, you can use Sylvannian Families houses for your nendoroid
