Anyone of you who have watched the anime, Yu Yu Hakusho? I remember clearly how I get addicted with it, I even had a crush on  Kurama and Hiei because they looked really cool. Well, these two are my favorites.

I also drew them a lot in my sketchbook during my High School, a good friend also gave me his Yu Yu Hakusho artwork because we were big fans of the anime. I never thought that I’d be able to see a figure of the anime, until Kotobukiya made Yu Yu Hakusho figures.

Today’s post will be a statue of Yoko Kurama in Demon Fox form by Kotobukiya ArtFX J line. I would like to thank Kotobukiya for providing me this figure last holidays.

After many months of preserving the beauty of this Statue, I finally unboxed him last night. I know this is long overdue. But today, we are finally taking a look at this magnificent Yu Yu Hakusho figure line of Kurama in Fox spirit form.

I actually used my mom’s Euphorbia Milii plant for Kurama’s set up. Every time I think about the Demon Fox, I remember his deadly man-eating plants with thorns during his battle. I couldn’t recreate the monstrous looking plant though.

Also, how can we ever forget Kurama spirit form’s grand entrance during his battle with Ura Urashima and Karasu. Thanks to my brother’s vape, it really helped me achieve this smoke effect.

I decided to maintain dark themed photos, more on shadows, silhouettes, not too bright and not too dark. Besides, it’s fun to experiment!

OMG! Look at that handsome face. I feel like I am captivated by his stares. Honestly, I like his face, it looks more manly and mature. Wohoo.

I like the detail of his robe, flowing around like this. It looks like he’s about to kill his prey.

I actually like the detail of his hair and tail.

Overall, I love this statue. I am very happy to have him in my collection. He’s my ultimate childhood crush and he definitely has a special spot in my shelf.

If you’re a big fan of the anime, you shouldn’t really miss this figure along with other Yu Yu Hakusho figure line releases. I swear if only I have the money, I would have completed all of them.
