Random Thoughts and Things: Summertime

I just came back from a 5-day summer vacation. It’s really hot and it’s really refreshing going out on a trip especially getting to see beautiful places. There are many other beaches and natural wonders here in the Philippines and I am so happy to see one of the most popular tourist destination and included in 7 Wonders of Nature, Underground River in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines.

I was a bit hurry when packing my things and I forgot to bring a travel buddy figure with me. Boohoo, but I was still able to enjoy my trip spending time with my mom and my cousins.

Palawan, Philippines sure has a lot to offer. El Nido and Coron are one of the best places in Palawan, however due to long distance travel from where we’re staying, we decided to go there some other time.

Coming May 2014, I’m going to experience the waves of La Union and summer in Baguio City, Philippines.

Below are just random snapshots during my stay in Narra and Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

Since Philippines is an island country with 7,107 islands in 3 geographical division, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.  I live in Luzon part and to be able to go to Visayas, Mindanao or other island in the country, either we have to travel by plane or boat.

Early morning sunrise.

Estrella Falls, Narra, Palawan. The place is enchanting. Love the cool and clear water. You can see little fishes while you swim.

There are many tourists when we arrived at Underground River, it took about 30 minutes until our turn to go inside.

The textures of the stones and minerals built inside the Underground River.

There is also Crocodile Farm in Puerto Princesa, Palawan. They are also breeding small crocodiles. There are restaurants in the city that offers Crocodile delicacy. I tasted one bite. I just couldn’t take it, thinking that it’s a crocodile meat that I’m eating, it’s just hard to swallow. It tasted chicken though.

Of course, the mandatory travel feet photo. 😛

Me, enjoying the sun.

This is paradise.

That’s all for now. New figure photos coming up next week. I’ll see you then! ^_^

I mostly used Note3, I only use DSLR inside the Underground River and Croc Farm.
Woah, I’m jealous. Might take a while before I go back to Palawan. Take lots of photos and bring Danboard with you 😉

I can feel the anger of your Nendoroids and other figures who were left behind XD
This is a lovely scenery and the kind of vacation I would also enjoy a lot.
Are you allowed to swim in Estrella Falls? must be awesome.

So eating crocodile is not that common as I expected ^^
Well, I guess I don’t want to eat wild, exotic animals like this, even when they are breed on a farm.

Thank You for sharing your impressions.
