How’s the weather in your neck of the woods? We don’t have winter season where I live, but December-January are the cold months here. It is my first post for 2014 and I will try my best to update my blog more often, provide more tutorials or nendoroid photography tips. I also bought my own domain for my blog, so as you see, it’s now kixkillradio.com. Hurray for the start of the year! 😀
The other day I also received a Christmas gift from Kotobukiya. I’ have posted this on my Facebook because I was really happy and excited. Thank you, you’re the best!
Anyway, today’s photo set is inspired by the cold season and Kotatsu. I’m going to make more sets in Kotatsu-theme until next week before Chinese New Year. ^_^
For those who doesn’t know kotatsu, it is a table frame covered by heavy blanket and has heating machine underneath. It provides a simple way to stay warm during the winter days in Japan. I’ve been looking for the Re-ment Kotatsu for so long, unfortunately it was sold out everywhere so I made my own last month.
Today’s post is just random photos of friends enjoying the company and the special warmth of kotatsu. They are Cu-Poche iDOLM@STER Miki Hoshii and Haruka Amami with Oreimo’s Kirino Kousaka. I adjusted the color tones and added little vignettes in each photos to achieve a vintage feel.
The comfort is just so hard to resist.
Kirino fell asleep, dreaming. Zzz.. Zzz…
